Portfolio Update

I didn’t do much trading this week, but here is a quick summary

• $HL – exited second 1/2 of position today as it struggled against MA20.  Nice 7% swing trade.
• $UIS – in at 1.455 and exited at 1.45.. basically just lost the commission.
• $UMC – in at 2.48, out at 2.58 for a small profitn
• $FRPT – in long at 8.36 and still holding. Having a good time here. Great MA50 bounce.
• $FAS – made a quick 2% on Friday afternoon move.  I never hold FAS/FAZ over the weekend

That’s all I’ve got for you.. I know, not that exciting. I’m hoping to get more involved next week.. but, hey, I did finish up

Portfolio Update

There were numerous trading opportunities today, but I was too busy at work to do much about it.  Here is what I was able to accomplish:

• $ETFC – scalped for 4% gain
• $FAS – scalped for  6% gain

I’m happy.
BTW – I am out of town the next few days, so you probably won’t see too many updates until Sunday night.

Kaboom

What a great day for traders as many stocks rocketed up, stayed up, then rocketed again.  As usual, I was pretty busy at work and didn’t get to spend quality time trading and hanging out with fellow stocktwitters. However, I was able to make some rock-star gains in a few timely trades..

• CPE – I was holding CPE over the weekend and I’m glad I did.  I still hold my full position even though we’re at horizontal resistance.  I’ll watch this cup/handle breakout and see what happens (great volume today).
• CIM – I bought CIM in hopes we would see a horizontal resistance breakout.  This is a swing trade for me and I have a stop loss at $3.6.
• BEE – took a day trade here.  Bought as it moved through top trendline resistance and sold at $1.17 for $.18.  Nice.
• FAS – I didn’t have much time to trade here, but I did manage a small profit – bought at $8.48 and sold at $8.89.
• PMI – another massive day trade play.  Bought at $.93 and sold at $1.09. Kaboom
• RF – lastly, I traded RF (buy $4.97, sold at $5.41).

Needless to say, it was a magical day.  Holding CPE and CIM overnight.  Yes, I probably could of made more today and maybe I should have held overnight.  But, I like to reduce risk. I’m 90% in cash and that’s how I like it when I go to bed.

Thursday Night Watch List Update

I’m fighting a nasty cold, but made naughty amounts of money today in FAS and BCON. I sold my entire position in BCON since my health is keeping me away from the trading screens  – I wanted to book my gains (bought at .4222 and sold at .62)

My other current positions (high risk trading account), since some of you are asking:

• CHTRQ – small position at .031
• FCEL – medium position at 3.01
• CENX – small position at 3.85
• ARIA – heavy position at 1.36
• OCNF – small position at 1.475

Watch List updates:

I updated the watch list – a few breakouts today and a lot of continuations. Most notable today – CEP,  CRBC, CHTRQ, SSD and HERO!

I’m worn out. I’ll have a full report and more stocks to watch for Monday.  Time to take some meds and get some sleep.
