Watch List Cleanup

I need to remove a lot of the recent winners and make room for new setups.

Coming off the list after huge ganes:

• PEIX – up 64% day after being added to WL.
• BCRX – up well over 20%
• EPEX – up over 40%
• EEE – up over 20%
• QTWW – up over 40%
• OCLR – up over 20%
• CKR – broke nicely out of triangle.
• CTIC - up over 10%
• CTS – broke out of horizontal resistance. up 16%
• ABD – up 21%
• HW – up 14%

Coming off the list for lack of interest or failed to satisfy setup:

• CYTR - may have more (added 9% after being added to WL), but I don’t like the pattern. Little too messy.
• RAD – setup isn’t too bad, I’m just losing interest.
• CVM – chart getting messy.
• NFP – Not looking so healthy.

Watch List Update

KKKKKKAAABOOOOMMMM.

QTWW exploded today and did it in a good way – nice climb from open to close with many entry points.  Congrats if you got you some.

CTIC also had a strong day. Made for good scalp and possible swing. Careful, drops just as fast as it pops.

EEE moved through trendline resistance. I wish it had more volume, but this was a nice swing entry point.

CKR continues to move up out of triangle.

Outside of that, I removed a few from the list that are just not setup as well as I would like them to be. Hoping to add a few tonight.

The Daily Scan

I’ve been preachin the love for $HEB and I finally got the breakout I was looking for.  There are numerous reasons I like this stock and I think it should have enough legs to get to 3 in the short term. we’ll see.

$CPST – Full Sto is shooting up with congestion price movement. I’m looking for the breakout through MA200 soon.

$STSI – RSI and Full Sto moving up with strong volume – breakout soon?

$AGEN – Will AGEN hold MA50?  If it does, I could swing it long.

$SPPI - Improving volume and rounded bottom on Full Sto.  Could be an interesting long swing play here.  Watching for MA20 support hold tomorrow.

$HSTX – Above 6.75

$FOE above 3.25 horizontal resistance

$FNSR – Nice move through MA200.  ADX crossing. Might be an interesting swing long here.

Portfolio Update

As usual, I had limited time to play last week, but here is how the week ended up..

• Sold $FIG for 6% gain
• Exited $XOMA for wash.. didn’t gain or lose a thing.
• Exited remainder of $MENT for 4.5% gain
• Exited remainder of $CTIC for 4% gain

Overall, my sells didn’t bring me massive returns considering the great volatility throughout the week. Oh, well.

New positions

Against my better judgment, I took some positions Friday and held over the weekend – I have no idea why  – it is  a trading no-no for me…  Oh, we’ll. We’ll see how it plays out.

• $AMAT – Long at 12.59 – large position
• $HGSI- Short at 3.47 – large position
• $RAD – Long at 1.27 (MA50 support holding, I hope) – small position
• $FEED – Long 5.7.  Will not likely hold if it falls much under MA50 – small position
